My name is Tyson, yes- like the chicken or the boxer. I am a  Worship Pastor, Musician, Producer, and Creative. Leading worship became a passion of mine starting at a young age. My father is a pastor so I grew up involved in church music. I began playing the bass before switching to guitar and singing every weekend. I am now a Worship Pastor at a mega church on the south side of Indy!

I studied at Olivet Nazarene University and received my Bachelor’s and Master’s there. So yes, you can call me Master. I also had the privilege of traveling in a band for 4 years throughout college leading worship all across the Midwest at conferences, retreats, churches, and camps in a variety of settings. 

 

Creating music is a huge passion of mine. This goes beyond leading worship from the stage of my church. I love to mix beats, create music for stage or video productions, collaborate with other artists, write music, recording, and thinking of new ways to have fun with music.

One of my passions is also equipping churches and individuals to know how to take their musical abilities to the next level.  Whether that be through private guitar lessons, teaching a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) so they can create and make their own loops and recordings for projects.

 

I am the biggest St. Louis Cardinals fan you have ever met, and have watched through all the seasons of Seinfeld 15 times now (George is my favorite). I am also married to America's First Female Speed-painter, the beautiful and creative Jessica K. Haas  {www.jessicakhaas.com} who just recently won ABC's new talent competition, The Gong Show! We have two dachshunds named Mozart and Magenta.
